Current Minister of Education İsmet Yılmaz and former Speaker of the Parliament Bülent Arınç attended the opening ceremony of Çağrı Koleji (a private school).

During the ceremony, where students performed ‘Ottoman janissary band’ and sword-shield (kılıç-kalkan) shows; and, read poems about July 15 coup attempt, there was also a screening of a film which included verses from the Koran.

Meanwhile, it was observed that a poem of the strictly-reactionist poet Abdurrahim Karakoç was hung on the exterior wall of the school. Titled as the ‘The Right Path is Islam’, the poem was ended with a phrase that read ‘We are going to write ‘Right Path is Islam’ in the Constitution of the Turks!’
